Lab 1 - Natural Light

The first picture that I chose was one taken for Step 2, in this we had to put our subject at a 90° angle parallel to the window while looking at me. The reason I chose this photo was because I think its quite different to the other ones that I took, it's a darker feel as it was taken indoors whereas the other ones are bright.

The second and third pictures that I chose were taken for Step 5, in photo 2 I used reflection and in photo 3 I used diffusion. I chose to include these photos because I didn't think the reflector would actually work so well as I had never used one before but looking back on the photos you can see how much of a difference it actually makes.

The final photo that I chose was taken for Step 4 in which we had to show the main characteristics of light. For this photo I worked on direction and had the subject standing in front of the son and facing me - because of this there is no light at all on the face but you can see it on her hair at the side. The background may be a little bright but I still really like this photo.
